Accounts Semi Senior

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 (DOE)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Semi Senior to join a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Bridgnorth, working alongside Crowe Watson Recruitment as the firm’s retained third party recruiter. The successful candidate will work closely with senior colleagues to prepare accounts for a varied client portfolio, developing their technical knowledge while gaining exposure to a broad range of sectors and client sizes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing accounts for a range of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Assisting with bookkeeping and VAT return preparation where required
  • Working closely with Seniors and Managers to develop technical skills
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting the team with ad hoc administrative and project tasks

Requirements

  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA student or equivalent experience
  • Solid understanding of accounts preparation processes
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude
